Three days of the High Speed Railway Poland 2026 conference in Łódź have come to an end. The event focused on the development of high-speed rail in Poland and brought together representatives of the railway industry, public administration, the scientific community and companies involved in the development of modern transport infrastructure.

TINES Rail took part in the conference, presenting its integrated solutions for modern railway infrastructure, with a particular focus on ballastless track technologies. During the “Infrastructure – Railway Track” session, Tomasz Szuba, President of the Management Board of TINES Rail S.A., delivered a presentation entitled “TINES System Solutions for Modern Railway Infrastructure – From High-Speed Rail to Specialised Applications”.

The presentation covered solutions designed for high-speed railway lines, technical facilities, rolling stock maintenance facilities and specialised track structures on engineering structures. An important part of the presentation also focused on TINES’ research achievements, the certification process and the authorisations obtained from the Polish Office of Rail Transport (UTK), including systems designed for operation at speeds exceeding 250 km/h.

One of the key topics discussed during the conference was the potential for wider application of ballastless track technology within Poland’s high-speed rail programme. These technologies should be considered not only for tunnels but also for potential use on open-line sections. Selecting the appropriate solution requires an assessment of technical, operational and economic factors, as well as the specific characteristics of the planned infrastructure.

The development of high-speed rail involves more than the construction of new lines. It also requires the effective use of available technologies, engineering expertise and domestic capabilities in the delivery of strategic railway investments. For TINES Rail, participation in High Speed Railway Poland 2026 provided an opportunity to present its solutions and discuss technologies that could be applied in Poland’s future high-speed rail infrastructure.

The completion of the process of obtaining UTK authorisations, including for systems designed for operation at speeds exceeding 250 km/h, marks an important milestone in preparing the company to participate in high-speed rail projects. TINES Rail is ready to actively contribute to the implementation of Poland’s high-speed rail programme, offering integrated solutions built on technical expertise, experience and the continued development of its own technologies.

We would like to thank the conference organisers and all participants for the valuable discussions and the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience.
