During the TRAKO 2025 fair, Tomasz Szuba was invited to participate in a debate titled “Future Technologies for Railways,” organized by the Association for Railway Interoperability and Development (SIRTS). The debate took place on September 24 at the AmberExpo Conference Centre in Gdańsk and was a traditional meeting of railway industry leaders held alongside the TRAKO fair.
The debate featured representatives from the railway sector, including Artur Fryczkowski, Vice President of the Management Board at Alstom; Paweł Choduń, Finance Director at MEDCOM; Kacper Koniarski, Product Director at Nevomo; Tomasz Prejs, President of the Management Board of Siemens Mobility Poland; Paweł Stec, Electrical Engineering Team Leader at Stadler; and Tomasz Szuba, President of TINES Rail S.A. The meeting was moderated by Janusz Kućmin, Member of the SIRTS Management Board.
The discussions focused on the latest technological and construction innovations in rolling stock, infrastructure, and railway systems. Experts explored solutions currently being implemented in rail transport, as well as those soon to be introduced, which contribute to improved efficiency, safety, and the sustainable development of railways in Poland and worldwide. The debate highlighted the importance of collaboration between key industry players and reflection on the future of rail transport, especially in the context of digitalization and green solutions.
