On 23–24 June 2025, Warsaw hosted the 7th Scientific and Technical Conference “IT/OT in Rail Transport”, organised by SITK RP and the Railway Research Institute. The event gathered experts to discuss digitalisation and the protection of railway infrastructure against cyber-attacks.
Participants also emphasised that effective information exchange among line operators, technology suppliers and research institutions is crucial for building cyber-resilient railway systems. Common standards and regular security tests are expected to ensure reliable and safe journeys for passengers.
We thank the organisers for providing a forum for substantive discussions and already look forward to future editions that will continue to drive innovation in the sector.
