Tomasz Szuba, President of TINES and Vice-Chairman of the HSR Committee of SITK RP for Infrastructure, was one of the moderators of the session featuring presentations on the topic Infrastructure – Railway Track.
The presentations prepared by representatives of CPK, PKP PLK, and the Railway Institute were just the beginning of the discussion about the challenges faced by designers and contractors of railway tracks for the HSR project. Requirements resulting from spatial, environmental, and legal constraints were presented.
On behalf of TINES, an interesting presentation on track superstructure solutions for the construction of High-Speed Rail was given by Michal Rybacki, Head of the Innovation and Implementation Department. He presented an overview of construction solutions that have proven themselves in operation and have been adapted in recent years to the conditions of High-Speed Rail infrastructure.
