Slokas iela is one of the longest streets in Riga. Along this nine-kilometer artery, one of the city’s nine tram lines runs. Nearly 1 km of track was modernized using materials from the TINES® Polyrail series. The project included the use of elastic rail fastening products as well as adhesive for rail groove inserts. Riga is yet another city in Latvia, following Daugavpils, to implement TINES solutions.

The tram network in the city, with a population of nearly 630,000 residents, consists of a total of 99 km of broad-gauge lines and is an important part of the capital’s transport system.
