The President of the Management Board of TINES Rail had the opportunity to present a paper titled “Application of Turnouts in Ballastless Track Surfaces” at the 6th International Scientific and Technical Conference – TURNOUTS, held on May 16-17, 2024, in Miedzeszyn. This event was co-organized by the Association of European Railway Engineers’ Associations and the Association of Engineers and Communication Technicians of the Republic of Poland, Warsaw Branch.

The conference focused on key issues related to railway turnouts, including:

🔹 Turnout as a key track element
🔹 Maintenance actions for rail turnouts, including the impact of RAM parameters on the Whole Life Cycle Cost (WLCC)
🔹 Technology and logistics of turnout installation to improve initial quality
🔹 Turnout certification process, including for high-speed rail – manufacturer or administrative responsibility and decision-making
🔹 Ongoing research, measurements, and maintenance processes – new market challenges and needs
🔹 Assessment of the significance of changes and risks related to implementing innovative technological solutions
🔹 Development directions for manufacturing technologies and special processes during turnout production and installation
🔹 Latest solutions in turnout monitoring and diagnostics
🔹 Systematic approach to turnout deliveries, integrating them as complete products with rail traffic control systems, heating for movable components, and condition monitoring systems

We sincerely thank the organizers for the opportunity to participate and for providing event photos.Such gatherings are an invaluable opportunity for knowledge and experience exchange, contributing to the further development of technology in the railway industry.
