Integrated Rail-Road Surface TINES® LC-L
Integrated rail-road surface of TINES® LC-L type is a ballastless rail-road surface construction used at level crossings and pedestrian crossings. Its fundamental component is a prefabricated reinforced concrete track slab. Within the slab, rail channels are formed, in which the rails are secured using the TINES® ERS rail fastening system.

System Description
The integrated railway-road surface TINES® LC-L can be used for:
- in the rail surface of a designated ballastless construction,
- in the integrated rail-road surface common for rail and road vehicles,
- in the integrated rail-road surface as a surface at crossings, pedestrian crossings, and bicycle crossings,
System description:
1. Prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs TINES® LC-L

Prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs TINES® LC-L for the integrated railway-road surface are standardly produced in lengths of 3 m, 4 m, and 6 m, hence their designations TINES® LC-L3, TINES® LC-L4, TINES® LC-L6. The selection of slab dimensions depends on the geometric layout of the track. The system of integrated railway-road surface can be used on single-track or multi-track lines in tracks of all classes, with a width of 1435 mm or 1520 mm, with rails 49E1 and 60E1, on straight sections or in curves with radii:
- R≥ 650 m for slabs 6 metres long (TINES® LC-L6)
- R≥ 300 m for slabs 4 metres long (TINES® LC-L4)
- R≥ 180 m for slabs 3 metres long (TINES® LC-L3)
2. Encased rail system – TINES® ERS System
The attachment of the rail to the prefabricated reinforced concrete track slab is executed in the TINES® ERS system.
Rails are mounted in rail channels using a castable polyurethane resin-based mass, TINES® Polyrail, and a continuous, elastic support for the rail is provided by a continuous under-rail pad placed under its base. Due to the high adhesion of the castable mass to concrete, it is unnecessary to directly fasten the rails to the concrete track slab.
