TINES Rail is a member of the consortium implementing a project called “Innovative Vibroacoustic Floor Isolation Technology.” Scientific research conducted in collaboration with the Krakow University of Technology has received financial support through an agreement with NCBR.
During the field research, floor systems that provide the best acoustic isolation for impact sounds while maintaining vibration isolation will be selected. Vibroacoustic floor systems will largely be developed using recycled materials, such as rubber granulate. The results of laboratory and field studies will undergo analysis to identify samples with optimal parameters. A positive assessment of the economic viability of the obtained floor prototypes will enable their production by TINES Rail.
