In this article, we will take a closer look at the specifications of these slabs, their applications, and the advantages of using them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rail crossings are among the most demanding elements of railway infrastructure. Their construction must be robust and resistant to large loads, while ensuring safety for trains and vehicles traveling on the surface. For this purpose, various types of rail crossings are used, such as: level crossings, overhead crossings, tunnels, and viaducts. Each of them requires special construction solutions and building materials.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of rail-road crossings, where the railway intersects with a road for cars, integrated surfacing is one of the most effective solutions. It involves using special concrete slabs that combine the road and rail surface into a single cohesive structure. This ensures a smooth transit of trains and cars, minimizing the risk of track damage and increasing safety for all road users.<\/p>\n<h2>Specifications of TINES\u00ae LC-L slabs<\/h2>\n<p>Prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs TINES\u00ae LC-L are standardly produced in dimensions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Width: 2.40 m<\/li>\n<li>Thickness: 0.40 m<\/li>\n<li>Length: 3.0 m (TINES\u00ae LC-L3), 4.0 m (TINES\u00ae LC-L4), 6.0 m (TINES\u00ae LC-L6)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The selection of slab dimensions depends on the geometric layout of the track where they will be applied. Integrated rail-road surfacing can be used on single or multiple tracks, on tracks of all classes with a width of 1435 mm or 1520 mm, with 49E1 and 60E1 rails.
